We’ve written about motivation before in our SaidSo insights. It’s important because it’s what drives us to do stuff every morning when the alarm goes off.
We've just had 'Blue Monday', apparently the most depressing day of the year, so finding motivation right now might be worth a thought.
We can use words like fear, love, money, greed, duty (amongst others) at this point to generically note what makes people spring out of bed and grasp their world and run with it. You may well have different words, views, beliefs…but they are all motives. What's yours?
Motives can apply to all aspects of your life, from your job, to your partner, to your family, to your home, each of which is very emotive and creates the being and life that is you. This is all very deep content for an Insight, but there's an important point which is that much of your motivation, whatever it is, probably does not come about without a bit of money to make it happen. And that's one of the other topics that you can have motives about, money - usually having enough to do / achieve/ experience the other aspects of your life that you want to.
Simply put, if you think about your motives, and being human (it's unlikely that you will have a choice in this!), then think about the costs. Not just today, or next month, but into the long term.
Are you ready to meet your motives cost wise as part of the plan that is you?
Perhaps some online financial planning would help and that's where SaidSo.co.uk can help for your longer term financial planning.
