Many might suggest that the biggest drama they’ve seen on the TV this year is Brexit! A fair call we think.
If you were setting your own personal drama, what would it look like? Picture the scene…
- Topic & script / story
- Period set
- Ancillaries & furniture/props
Now all you have to do is put them together as you want them to be portrayed. Is yours a comedy, tragedy, adventure, horror (with Halloween around the corner!), rom-com or something else?
To be frank, it's all a bit intangible really! And to some extent, that's the problem with money planning. You may not know what you're planning for into the future because you may have no script or story. So make one! Some people have, and that's great, and of course some have not. The only thing that you do know is that your story will play out and you need to be ready for it financially.
So, as life dramas start to feature in your life, put a bit of planning into your money script. What you plan can be big or small but ensure it makes a difference and do it soon.
Money planning usually needs only two things. Money, obvs, and time. Start soon and capture both.
